The artwork is based on authentic early 19th century sources.
Instructions for researching and completing the print are on the back. This 16 x 20 (in) print allows five generations of family genealogy to be displayed. Bottom two boxes are labelled "Children". Next row are "Mother" and "Father", followed by subsequent generations. Looking closely at the print, there are green vines which tie together the multiple generations. The top two rows are actually the same generation, with one side of the family on one level and the other above it.
